HTC Android Tablet Gets Canned
Feb 1, 2010 HTC
HTC has recently announced that, although it was in the process of developing both an Android and Chrome OS tablet, the project was canned. Apparently, they want to focus on Android smartphones, without distractions like a new tablet on their hands. HTC will probably want to evaluate the tablet segment and see how well Apple iPad performs on this young market.
First of all, if the Taiwanese company wants to succeed, it’ll have to compete with the like of the Archos 5 Android tablet or the really cool products made by Lenovo. Dell’s also got a pretty appealing device of its own and we’re not even talking about the NVIDIA Tegra 2-based tablets coming soon.
What could HTC bring new to the table in order to smash the competition?
