New Apple iPad Pictures Leak on the Web, Fake?

  • Hours before the big event in San Francisco we’ve come across a bunch of shots that supposedly portray the Apple iPad. These pics are kind of fishy and you should take them with a grain of salt, as usual. Some say this is a prototype of the Apple Tablet, while Engadget mentions they recently got a tip saying that the device packs a 10 inch screen and an aluminum back like the MacBook.

    What do you say? Are these images fake? And since the device is showing navigational features in action, will the Apple iPad pack a GPS chip, 3G connectivity, support for Google Maps and maybe even a digital compass?
