EKing i1, a Promising 4.8 inch UMPC

EKing i1 is the perfect alternative for your netbook, a device that’s become too big for modern requirements, just like laptops did a couple of years ago. This UMPC comes with a 4.8 inch LCD display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a QWERTY keyboard placed on the sides of the screen, just like in the case of Samsung Q1U.

The device’s processor is an Intel Atom Z520 CPU, clocked at 1.3 GHz and the specs list of this UMPC also includes 1GB of onboard memory, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 graphics solution, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 60GB hard drive. Wireless connectivity is also supported, but Bluetooth is not and the battery beneath the case is a 3900 mAh Li-ion unit.

Let’s just hope that this product makes it out of Asia and reaches Europe or Northern America with a reasonable price.
