Litl is a Netbook and a Photo Frame, Goes for $700

Looking for something that’s almost a tablet, but not quite there? Here’s Litl, a $700 piece of equipment, pictured below and considered a hybrid between a netbook and an enhanced photo frame. This “webbook” was created by Boston company Litl and it comes with specs that remind me of a netbook.

There’s a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU on board, as well as 1GB of RAM, 2GB flash memory, HDMI output, WiFi, USB 2.0 a webcam, microphone and speakers. A customized OS is running the show, software-wise and the display you can see in the pic above is a 12.1 inch panel, able to rotate past 180 degrees.
The device provides support for Facebook, Flickr, Shutterfly, Weather Channel forecasts and any other service you can waste time on the web with.
