Plastic Logic QUE E-book Reader Gets Detailed; CES 2010 Material?
Oct 20, 2009 E-Book Readers
The folks of Plastic Logic are impatiently waiting for CES 2010, or so they seem, since they’ve just announced the QUE E-book reader, that they’ll showcase during next year’s show. In January, you’ll be seeing this device, meant for professionals and measuring 8.5 x 11 inches, plus a mere 1 inch in thickness.
The E-book reader packs a pretty big E-ink Vizplex display, with a touchscreen interface and there’s also a plastic screen on board, for extra ruggedness. No info on battery life or storage space, but what we do know is that the e-reader will support book downloads from the Barnes and Noble store, by using WiFi or 3G connections.
